Your photos are not uploaded
Every step — decoding the image, detecting lines, solving the homography, warping, measuring and exporting — runs as JavaScript in your browser, on your device. The application makes no network request with your image, because there is no server component to send it to.
What is stored on your device

All of it can be removed with Settings → Clear stored data, or by clearing site data in your browser. None of it is readable by anyone else, and none of it is transmitted.
Updates
When you are online the browser checks whether the cached copy of the application is current, and downloads a new one if it is not. That request carries no information about you or your work beyond what any request for a static file carries. A new version is applied only when you accept the prompt, so an update can never interrupt a measurement in progress.
No analytics, no cookies, no accounts
There is no tracking script, no cookie, no sign-in and no telemetry of any kind.
Hosting
The site is served as static files. Whoever hosts your copy will see ordinary web-server request logs — the page and asset URLs, your IP address and user agent — as they would for any website. Your photograph is not among them.
